star wars propaganda

Similarly to my Miami Art Deco Hotel Illustrations, This personal project was an opportunity for two of my interests to overlap: star wars and illustration. 

I have always been inspired by old propaganda posters from wars, the space race, etc., and have always wanted to try my hand at illustrating posters in their spirit.

As star wars parallels many real-world events, such as WWI. It borrows design elements from war, like darth vader's helmet. It references dictators and politicians throughout history. I thought there was no better way to combine to these two interests than star wars propaganda posters.
